D.S. Ingram is an artist located in the Lancaster County area in Pennsylvania.
Until now his work has been solely on a private commission basis but starting in 2025 he has opened up his art to the public.

He never received any formal training in charcoal drawing and only ever doodled or drew fairly pedestrian cartoons. But in 2008 he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer which resulted in a complete removal of his thyroid. Almost immediately he began producing the highly detailed charcoal drawings you see today.
Although his technique is known for a photorealistic quality, the main concern in a piece is content. It must be captivating regardless of medium. And the world of D.S. Ingram is that of the mundane experiencing a bit of magical realism, perhaps with some surrealistic touches. As he says: where precision and imagination meet.
